Kitchen and Pregnancy, March 2008

So as many of you have heard Daniel and I began planning our kitchen renovation in October, 2007. In Decemeber, 2007 we also found out we were pregnant. We decided to move forward with the kitchen renovation thinking that it would be easier to deal with such a huge construction job sans baby. I don't know if that is really true - as we don't have a baby in tow to compare the experience to. All I know is that it has been very hard not having a kitchen and living through a major remodel while dealing with all the ups and downs that come with pregnancy. But oh well - we are near the end. The baby is due in a little over a week and the kitchen is SOOO close to being complete. For now it's just Daniel and I....


And for sure - within a month at least there will be an expresso machine and a baby.

Pictures: That's me at about 15 weeks pregnant. The other photos were taken in March, 2008. The pictures show the wall between the kitchen and the formal dining room coming down. We found a good home for the red built in hutch. Some guy in Sonoma country bought it for his farm house so it has gone to a good home!
